Given my recent obsession with bold lip colors, I forgot just how pretty nude lip colors can be. Astonishing. This nude lip sampler from Sephora, Give Me Some Nude Lip, has not disappointed me in the swatch category. I even like part of that other sample Sephora sent from Touch In Sol.
From left to right: Estee Edit The Barest Contour lip liner in 05 The Buff, Urban Decay Vice lipstick in 1993 (comfort matte), Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick in Honeycomb, Marc Jacobs Beauty Le Marc Lip Cream in 246 Slow Burn, Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian, Too Faced Cosmetics Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear lipstick in Queen B, and Touch In Sol Metallist Liquid Foil lipstick duo in metallic only, gloss only, and layered.
What pretty swatches! Coincidentally, I swatched the Estee Edit lip liner and the Urban Decay lipstick next to each other and they are very similar shades. I think I like the Bite lipstick the best shade-wise. But for lasting power, the lip liner, the Too Faced liquid lipstick, and the Touch In Sol liquid lipstick (without gloss) are looking to be the best.
